An App for those tired of the "spend, spend, spend" culture associated with Christmas who'd just like to find and share places to go to that are about people not presents (and avoid all the rampant consumerism). A way to avoid Christmas-overload but also, like Scrooge, to rediscover the importance of just spending time together with family and friends and consider those for whom Christmas is a difficult time.

So, the app could locate:
- Great things to take the family to see, for free (winter walks, great parks and hills for sledging, the house down the road covered in fairy lights...)
- Festive activities for charity not profit (community centres to support in providing Christmas dinners, the projects that find homes for last year's forgotten toys, the best amateur pantomimes...)
- Cafés, restaurants and pubs that don't 'over-do the Christmas thing' (or do it at all)

Each location could rate:
Humbug! factor - from 'Festive Fun' (the house covered in fairly lights) to 'Humbug!' (the Christmas-free café)
Family factor - from 'Fun for Everyone' to 'Grown-ups Only'

With comments describing the location and links to any relevant charity.
