Several studies have shown that Kathmandu’s air is very polluted, particularly in the dry winter months and that the level of pollution is increasing. The ambient air pollution of the Kathmandu has reached alarming level. People’s health is sure to be deteriorated as its consequence if proper precaution is not adopted. When we searched we did not find any kind of documentation or communication initiatives regarding the issue. Hence we strongly felt a need to develop the mechanism through build an open-access integrated platform for near real-time air pollution information, and visualization, as well as self-reporting of health symptoms, experienced.
