A big thanks to everyone who voted and shared/ posted to support this app. We have now got all the votes we need. The next step will be to co-design the app so please check your emails if you want to stay involved.
The new app will be an online hub, which people can use to instantly get linked up with all the things happening in Wingrove. Once it is up and running my hope is that it can be extended as a way of encouraging online debate about how best to manage the area and about how to achieve that through co-operative working between the council, the freemen, local businesses, local residents and others. The council in particular is facing huge cuts, but by working together we can achieve the vision which is held by many of us locally, and by Council Leader Nick Forbes, of an enabling authority where decision making is shared and our commitment to 'public' services is renewed.
Thank you again for all your support.

I am moving to Simonburn Ave in Fenham. Does this app stretch as far as that?
