The app is an easy to use directory of all the artists who are members of Network Artists North East. It gives information on the type of media they use, the subjects they portray, their inspiration and method of working. It shows examples of their work and gives full contact details so that you can contact them, commission them or attend a workshop. It gives a full list and details of artists who run workshops on many subjects from watercolours to printing, ceramics to weaving.

During June many artists open their doors and invite people to meet them and view their work – the app will help you to find them by using location services. It is a mobile and interactive version of network artists website and complements that and the hard copy directory we produce every year, giving art lovers “on the move” information. It is searchable by artist, media, geography and subject.
